I actually wanted to check out both locations so I checked out the downtown location today. It was a lot quieter than the Buckhead location and not too many people here at the music selection was not a beat. It was more like TV show themes of music overall I will say the Buckhead location is a lot better but I still like the vibe on both of them so if you're looking for more of a chill relaxing atmosphere the downtown location is it but if you're looking for more upbeat, good music type of atmosphere Buckhead is better, but the service was great overall at both locations and the drinks were strong so pick your poison.

The service was amazing! The owner welcomed us in and was spreading ice melt on the sidewalk during the snow storm - he went and picked up employees today so they could be open and we are thankful they were! The full speakeasy ambiance with ice blocks being chipped away to make cocktails, high quality cigars for purchase, and low lighting for a calm evening made it a perfect place amongst the hustle and bustle of downtown atl. Eat upstairs at the restaurant, Amalfi, and ask how to get into the red phone booth!

The VIBES here are the best I found in ATL. Put a collar on, check in with your bartender (as one should in a proper establishment) and get yourself setup for an old school cocktail experience. I wouldn't say the humidor was world class but it's certainly sufficient if you know what you're looking for. You say: 'it's too smoky' I say: 'The air filtration was on point and running heavy.'

Totally unexpected and random speakeasy. We were staying at The Ritz during the Peach Bowl and after the game, we knew that everywhere downtown would be packed and we were right. Being that the game was on New years day, a few places were closed. After going by three establishments, we stopped by Amalfi and were quoted with a 2 hour wait. While standing in the stairwell checking Opentable and Resy for reservations, we were approached by someone that shared a college affiliation with a member of my party. We were then offered a chance to come to the speakeasy where they shared the same menu as Amalfi! What a stroke of luck! We exited Amalfi and entered the "red phone booth" outside, entered the code and were granted access. I cannot stand strong smoke, especially cigarettes and while too much cigar smoke can affect me, I got over it and enjoyed our time in this super cool spot. After a while, I did not smell anything, however, the next day, my clothes and my hair did not let me forget. This place is pre-prohibition which I love. We had the first word, the last word, old fashioned's and the st. germaine margarita. The drinks were crafty and delicious. We ordered the calamari, margarita carnevale and carne pizzas and the food was good. Tony was our waiter and he took such good care of us. Thank you Tony!

My first speakeasy experience and it was so much fun! The phone booth wasn't working but we were able to call in on our phones. The ambiance of the place really takes you back in time to prohibition era. They had a great seating area, fun menu, and cigars for purchase! Our waitress was exceptional although I can't recall her name. We tried their elderflower margarita and it was so good! We also ended up trying the absinthe drip and what an experience that was on its own! We don't typically smoke but wanted the full experience so with the help of staff picked one out. This is absolutely a must when in the city.

Pretty cool however the dress code seems a bit over the top for a place that will leave a strong cigar odor over every article of clothing on you. Service was good yet slow however I'll lean into it being very busy and they were trying hard to sling drinks. Great place to imbibe just let it be a fun little hideaway versus some club requiring a sports coat. Lastly, if cargo pants are a no then be sure to get everyone at the door. I had a friend sent away yet two others were let in just before us. It's a tourist spot, check it out, grab a drink, and check the speakeasy box!

The rotary phone in the phone booth was out of order, so we used a cellphone to call the secret number. Once inside, we were shown to plush leather couches and given a book of "prescriptions." Our server was excellent, encouraging us to try something we wouldn't normally and ensuring us they would replace the drink if we didn't like it. I ordered the French 75 as I had never had Cognac. Everything we ordered was delicious! There's a humidor with cigars for purchase and you can smoke them with your cocktail. Very unique cocktails with a huge variety and all very affordably priced at $15.

"The problem with the world is that everyone is a few drinks behind." Humphrey Bogart Red Phone Booth. Problem solved. Cocktails here flow like secrets among the crowd, and the flair of high end cocktails combined with the intoxicating environment of this liiteral hidden gem in Atlanta's make for a great night. It's easy to get caught up in the fun of this speakeasy as you make your way into the crowded bar. You can't help but have a good time as you watch the bartenders tend to their craft, and it's not lost on the patrons. Service is excellent, and I would highly recommend seats at the bar to watch the magic. In the spirit of prohibition, speakeasies, and fight club, I won't talk about The Red Telephone Booth. What happens in the Red Phone Booth stays in The Red Phone Booth. Shhhhhh

A Cocktail lover's dream. They have over 400 spirits, including some of the rarest bourbons, whiskeys, and Japanese whisky. The cocktails are crafted with fresh-squeezed juices and hand-chipped ice, which adds a special touch to every drink. I tried a couple of their signature cocktails, and each one was better than the last. We sampled the Modified Whiskey Sour, the Bocci Ball, and the Bramble. Of these, the Bramble was my favorite--refreshing and gin-based, with fresh lemon and berries. The mixology here is top notch !! The atmosphere is exclusive and refined, perfect for unwinding after a long day. The cigar selection is top-notch, too. Great service!! Dress code - it's all about looking sharp. No gym attire or flip-flops allowed. I felt this complements the vibe of this bar . Who doesn't love to dress up once in a while ?? If you're looking for a unique night out with a touch of history and a lot of character, Red Phone Booth is the place to be. It's more than just a bar; it's an experience. I had an amazing time and can't wait to go back.
